• Commercial aviation is back and stretched thin. Airlines are flying more, and Boeing and Airbus need to hit delivery targets they keep missing. That means real demand for structures engineers, quality inspectors, and assembly technicians. Quality experience matters more than ever after the scrutiny on production lines.

• Defense budgets are funding new programs, not just old ones. Munitions, missile defense, and next-generation fighters are pulling in systems engineers, RF and radar specialists, and cleared talent. If you hold a security clearance, you have leverage in every negotiation. Companies wait months to backfill cleared roles.

• Space is hiring past the launch teams. SpaceX set the pace, but now satellite operators, ground station builders, and small launch startups all need people. Propulsion test engineers, avionics techs, and manufacturing leads are in short supply. The work is hard and the hours are long, so know what you are signing up for.

• MRO cannot find enough hands. Aging fleets mean more repair and overhaul work than shops can staff. A&P mechanics and NDT inspectors can pick their location. This is the steadiest bet in the whole field.

• Unmanned systems keep growing. Drones for defense and inspection need software engineers, flight test operators, and integration leads who can move fast.
